These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

Hi all! So I’m apparently obsessed with photo-blogging. Oh well! icon smile These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things Time to share what I made!Christmas These Are A Few Of My Favorite ThingsSo this winter, whats really odd is I have been in love with certain bright pieces in my wardrobe. I just want to share it with anyone reading, because this is fun!

  1. YELLOW. I am attracted to this color like a moth to a lightbulb. Yellow shorts, yellow shoes, yellow lights. It is really amazing on darker/olive skin tones, and brightens any outfit for sure. As much as I love darker colors, I love how a bright yellow piece can instantly amp up any outfit without even trying.
  2. CORDUROY. Every girl needs a pair of these pants. Honestly, I got an instant buttlift and accentuates curves you never knew  you had. I really want one in every color, but for now I will just have to stick with my lovely green. icon smile These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things I bought mine for $9.50. (Sorry for the crotch shot haha!)
  3. BIKE SHIRTS. The pic above is so cute!! If you love the vintage style, these bike shirts really scream vintage… think about the movie “My Girl” and how they use to ride these bikes in the 50′s and 60′s. These are so cute. I don’t have one but, I had to take a pic of this so I can admire it’s beauty lol.
  4. SPARKLES. To be honest, I think Cassey got me into sparkly things, haha. But to me sparkles represent a little bit of 70′s glamour, pizzazz, and a “reaching for the stars” feel. I love them because they make you shine bright like a star! icon razz These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things And you know what… Tis’ The Season!
  5. VINTAGE SHOPS. They are a must go. I went to a store called Crossroads with my gf’s and I loved all their outfits, shoes, accesories, etc. Everything they have is honestly one of a kind. They have top brands, at about 1/3 the price or LESS. Talk about saving! BUT WHY? Well vintage stores are always stocking up on clothes that people either donate or sell (in good condition).  All we have to do is wash it, and it’s like new! My yellow shoes up there are Onitsuka Tiger Brand These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things and generally they go for $70-100. I really love how it has a vintage and sporty feel to it which I adore, and according to Onitsuka Tiger, “SAIKO RUNNER is a running sneaker inspired from the late 1970s. Well, I guess that’s why I loved it!  These Are A Few Of My Favorite ThingsHow much I bought mine?… Kind of embarrassed to say… but I bought it for $15!  I know right. AH! I had to get it, and I did. I highly suggest going to Thrift shops or even just trading clothes with your friends to find some awesome and inexpensive finds!
  6. INSPIRATION. Lastly, everybody needs this in their life one way or another. I began reading a classic book by the These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

name of “The Great Gatsby,” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and I enjoyed this quotation very much: “Whenever you feel like criticizing anyone…just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had.” And it is true. Being humble is something I really admire in people, because it shows just how kind a person truly is, even if they reach the greatest success. I think that is an amazing characteristic to have, and it’s something that I have always admired in people I have met, who inspire me the most. icon smile These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

Anyway, I ramble so much. I hope you like  my 2nd Photoblog, and I have a feeling I am going to make more of these! Haha! I hope someone is looking at these! lol.

Stay warm and Happy Holidays icon wink These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things Janice
